Our colleagues from SP3 are participating in the CITYX VENICE 2023 virtual exhibition, curated by Tom Kovac. This year Stefan Rutzinger and Kristina Schinegger are curating a virtual pavilion presenting research conducted in SP3 (Johannes Schlusche, Mathias Bank, Julian Höck, Viki Sandor), as well as joint research workshops with SP9 (Milena Stavric, Julian Jauck, Hana Vasatko, Felix Dokonal) and SP2 (Shervin Rasoulzadeh).


Eurographics has recognized Prof. Michael Wimmer with the 2023 Outstanding Technical Contributions Award for his pioneering work in advancing the field of computer graphics through his research in real-time rendering, physically based rendering, computer games, point-based graphics, procedural modeling, shape modeling, and computational fabrication.


Our colleagues presented novel 3D printing materials at MaterialDistrict 2023, Utrecht (NL).

Our colleagues from TU Graz presented their work at the Erasmus BIP+ Workshop "Concrete Modularity" held at the University of Bratislava.



Our colleagues exhibited innovative furniture and objects produced using innovative digital methods developed within the FWF Special Research Area Project: ADVANCED COMPUTATIONAL DESIGN (https://acd.tuwien.ac.at) at WOHNEN & INTERIEUR 2023.


Our colleague Kiumars Sharifmoghaddam will give an invited keynote talk on

TU Graz hosted a course on foldable design for architectures students:

organized and presented by our colleagues Milena Stavric and Kiumars Sharifmoghaddam (21-25 November 2022).


Our colleagues Johannes Schlusche (SP3), Julian Jauk (SP9), Viktoria Sandor (SP3), Mathias Bank (SP3), Hana Vasatko (SP9) and Felix Dokonal (IAM, TU Graz) hosted the "Point to Print" workshop at the University of Stuttgart during the AdvanceAEC Autumn School 2022.


Shervin Rasoulzadeh had the honour to be given the “Best Poster Award 2nd Place” during the Advance AEC Autumn School 2022 PhD Poster Session and Presentation hosted by the Cluster of Excellence IntCDC | University of Stuttgart.
